Terms of Service

These terms apply to Standout Signature Studio, operated by Justin Cunningham Online in New Zealand. By using the service or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

The service

Standout lets you design email signatures with contact details, links, layouts and animated or static images. The builder is free to use. Access to install code, copying, HTML and image downloads, and cloud image hosting requires paid Pro access on the customer site.

Editable drafts and original images currently stay in the open browser tab and are not saved to your account. Keep copies of your source material and exports; do not rely on Standout as your only backup.

Pricing and payment

• Monthly: $27 USD, per month. Billed automatically through Stripe until cancelled.
• Lifetime · Launch special: $47 USD, one payment. No recurring subscription charge.
• Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Your bank or card provider may charge currency-conversion fees.
• The launch special is the offer shown at checkout at the time of purchase. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed price unless a change is communicated in accordance with applicable law.

Monthly cancellation and lifetime access

You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time. Use Stripe's subscription-management link if available, or email us using your account email to request cancellation before the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Cancellation stops future renewals; it is not itself a refund request.

Lifetime means a one-time purchase of Pro access for the operating lifetime of this Standout Signature Studio service, not an individual's lifetime. It does not promise that the service will operate indefinitely or include separate future products. Nothing in this definition removes your rights under applicable consumer law.

Your account and content

Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. Purchases are linked to your account. You retain ownership of your images, logos and signature content, and you confirm you have permission to use them. You give us permission to store and serve only the finished images you choose to host, as needed to provide the service. We will not use your signature as a promotional example without your permission.

Public hosting and fair use

Hosted signature image links are public. Do not upload confidential, unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content. Hosting accepts validated final GIF/PNG images up to 1 MB and is rate-limited to protect the service; it is not general-purpose file storage. We may restrict abusive use or remove unlawful content, subject to applicable law.

Email display and availability

Email applications control how signatures appear. Remote images may be blocked, animations may show only the first frame, and formatting can vary. You are responsible for checking your content, links and a test email before use. We do not guarantee identical display in every email application or uninterrupted hosting.

Refunds and consumer rights

Our Refund Policy explains the monthly first-payment guarantee and lifetime purchase rules. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act where applicable.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability relating to the service is limited to your most recent monthly subscription payment, or the price paid for the affected lifetime purchase. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it and does not limit non-excludable consumer rights.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms and will notify account holders of important changes. These terms are governed by New Zealand law, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
